Palliative care services in Belize are spearheaded by the Belize Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation (BHCPF) working along different governmental and non-governmental agencies with the aim of developing and implementing palliative care services at the different levels of healthcare.  Our mission is to make physical, psycho social, and spiritual care services available to those who have been affected by or diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, ensuring physical integrity and quality of life as inspired and sustained by God. The scope of services offered include the early integration of palliative care in an outpatient setting for cancer patients and  home based care programs focusing on both palliative and hospice care for cancer and non-cancer patients.
