THE CAYMAN ISLANDS

Palliative and Hospice Care services in the Cayman Islands are primarily provided in the community but we have a new 4 bedded in-patient Unit. Our services cater to both the patient and their families providing dignified medical, emotional and spiritual care to those with a chronic and life limiting illnesses (such as heart disease, lung disease, multiple sclerosis, cancer, lupus etc.) The aim is to have specialized health care professionals treating pain and managing symptoms. This is accomplished best by working with the patient's doctor to provide the best possible care, which can greatly enhance the quality of life for both the patient and their loved ones. We journey with our patient’s families and caregivers to provide them with the physical and emotional support they need, assuring long-term well-being.
Services are available to all those living in the Cayman Islands and are completely free of charge.
