IAHPC scholarships to attend the MD Anderson Cancer Center Palliative Care Review Course
The International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) is pleased to announce it will provide 2 scholarships to palliative care workers to participate in the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) Updates in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Intensive Physician Board Review Course delivered by Web Streaming on September 8-10, 2020.
This course provides an in-depth review of the clinical aspects for physicians working in palliative care.
The deadline to apply is Monday, August 24, 2020. Results will be announced Monday, August 31, 2020.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be current members of the IAHPC. If you wish to apply and are not an IAHPC member, you may join by clicking here.
Physicians working full time in palliative care.
Living in a low- or middle-income country in Latin America or the Caribbean.
Fluent in English.
Have access to broadband internet.
Have a letter from their direct supervisor stating that if selected, the grantee will have permission to take the time to do the course.
