TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

Trinidad and Tobago possesses at least one Palliative Care service per regional health authority. There are three in-patient units, two community outreach services and two hospital-based out-patient services. Local palliative care development has been largely led by non-governmental organizations; The Living Water Community, The Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society and the Palliative Care Society of Trinidad and Tobago are responsible for the vision for the three in-patient services.
